Utilising daily experiences to build a happier brain
Become happier by learning how to hardwire happiness
Learn how to hardwire happiness in your brain. And in turn, improve your mental health. In this video Karyn Chalk will introduce you to the HEAL process, designed by world resilience leader Dr Rick Hanson.
Our brain evolved over billions of years. And in order to survival the brain developed 3 fundamental core needs.
· We need to feel safe. Physical and emotional safety is an inbuild survival mechanism inside of us.
· We need to feel satisfied. Feeling like we can actually achieve some goals and experience certain kinds of pleasure.
· We need to feel connected. To belong in a herd. Some caring flowing in, some caring flowing out.
When the brain feels a basic level of safe, satisfied and connected it moves to the green zone. By utilising the power of positive neuroplasticity, we can feel less anxious, less depressed, less overwhelmed and more calm, more satisfied with life and a greater sense of belonging.
Below is a video introducing you to Positive Neuroplasticity, the work of Dr Rick Hanson, a world leader in resilience. You will learn how to optimise and utilise daily experiences to hardwire happiness and build a happier brain.
