Welcome to the August 2024 Changing Ways Newsletter.

Exciting News!!!

A couple of years ago I became an accredited Brain Health Trainer with Dr Daniel Amen  - a physician, double board-certified psychiatrist, 12-time New York best-selling author and his clinics  have the highest published success rates treating complex psychiatric issues.

Over the past 30 years his clinics have built the world’s largest database of over 200,000 brain scans and over 70 peer-reviewed studies published.   From here he has developed knowledge of different brain types, and effective ways to heal emotional, learning, and behavioural problems. 

For me personally I am finding his knowledge, information and strategies super helpful as I navigate my menopause journey.

Free ONLINE Monthly Lunch and Learn Seminars

To help me consolidate my learnings and in order to get this information and strategies out in the community, I’m going to start FREE ONLINE monthly “Lunch and Learn” seminars.

The first one will be  on Friday 23rd  August, 12.00pm – 12.45pm (NZST)

Topic: Brain Health strategies to improve your health, happiness and productivity

This Lunch and Learn session invites you to reflect and direct your attention to valuing and enhancing the health of brain.  

You will be introduced to:

  • BRIGHTMINDS – The different factors involved in building a happier and healthier brain.

  • 5 principles behind Brain Health.

  • Examples of how Dr Daniel Amen led the world’s largest brain imaging and rehabilitation study on professional football players and how significant numbers of players recovered from brain injuries.

Friday, September 20th, 12.00pm – 12.45pm (NZST).  Hot Brain Health tips for building a happier brain.
